Most beautiful beach - Praia Do Camilo, Lagos
Praia do Camilo is a gorgeous beach nestled between sandstone cliffs. It is only reachable by stairs and as you walk down you will see a splendid view over the bay. The sea here is clean and the water has a beautiful blue color. Be aware of the tide and that it gets pretty crowdy during high season.
One of a kind - Praia da Falesia, Albufeira
Praia da Falesia is a truly unique beach and a colorful treat for the eyes. Here you will find kilometers of sandy beach set against fascinating red and white cliffs. Falesia is always a safe bet when you need a beach with plenty of space.
All time favorite - Praia dos Três Irmãos, Alvor
We love Praia dos Três Irmãos for its big beautiful rocks and small caves that divide the beach into smaller more private areas. Walking through impressive rock formations gives an adventures feeling but fear not, it is simple to access.
Best family beach - Praia de Carvoeiro
The Carvoeiro beach is a small scenic beach with easy access from Carvoeiro downtown. A family-friendly spot with shower and bathroom facilities and many restaurants, cafés, and ice cream places nearby.
Wild beach - Praia de Bordeira, Bordeira
Algarve's west coast is lined with off-the-beaten-path beaches. This wild coastline boasts dramatic nature and beautiful cliffs. Our favorite beach is Praia de Bordeira with its soft sand dunes and a lagoon surrounded by magnificent nature.
