One of my favorite things to do in Albufeira is a walk along the coast. This little hike from Praia de Arrifes in Albufeira to Praia do Castelo offers gorgeous views of some amazing beaches.
It is a pretty easy walk of 3 km with dirt road all the way and a few edgy parts. The path is marked with red or orange dots, but you can make your own route as the dots are quite inconsistent.
You will pass by some truly breathtaking beaches like Praia de São Rafael and Praia da Coelha. There are a few beach restaurants along the way if you need to fuel up with energy.
Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and to bring your camera and swimwear :)
